Dr. Phusita N Davidovich, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Davidovich (Dr. Pooh) has a natural love for animals. Prior to her veterinary medicine studies, Dr. Pooh dedicated her time taking care of rescued animals at a sanctuary ranch in Topanga Canyon, California. This is where she met her first great mentor, ‘Poncho’, an elderly, wise camel who taught her the deepest meaning of unspoken kinship, kindness, strength, bravery, and inspired her to become a veterinarian. Originally from Thailand, Dr. Pooh continues to live within nature and resides within the Santa Monica Mountains.
After receiving her Master’s Degree in Engineering, Dr. Pooh continued her education to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from The Ohio State University and spent summers being mentored by Dr. Eric Shaver at the East Holmes Veterinary Clinic in Berlin, Ohio which specializes in providing health care for animals within the Amish community. She returns there every August to volunteer her time at the 4H County Fair to give back to the people and their animals in such a special rural town.
Dr. Pooh sets forth her daily goal to honor her promise to the late Poncho the Camel. To help all his furry friends in need, maintaining excellent patient health, care, well-being and to see a dog wag its tail or hear a cat purr – all in happiness.
